The Kaiserschmarrn was excellent but it takes about thirty minutes from order to delivery so you might want to order it with the main course order. A good restaurant if you are looking for an authentic schnitzel or other Austrian dishes while in Friedrichshain. ”

The decor is almost unchanged: I love it. Kitsch is my middle name. As for the food: I ordered a classic: Veal Schnitzel accompanied by potato and cucumber salad. The schnitzel was smaller than it used to be (and more expensive) and the salad in laboratory quantities. As for the salad no objections (crisp, juicy, correct) but the Schnitzel: if not for the river flowing nearby I would have died of over-salting. I understand that after weekend parties the kitchen may have dulled taste buds, but that's the amount of salt it takes in throughout the week. Nevertheless: probably because of my sentiment for the place, I recommend it. Maybe not on Sunday ”
